Practical Competition Shooting League (PCSL) is a rapidly growing shooting discipline. What PCSL offers today is a practical competition shooting format brought into the modern era. We've managed to not only expand the accessibility of competing in shooting sports, but also drastically increased the skill ceiling of our format at the highest level. By introducing simple divisions focused on real world modern equipment, and an easy to understand common sense rulebook, PCSL makes it extremely easy to jump in and start competing for shooters from all different backgrounds.

By introducing a re-imagined target that demands a higher accuracy standard than other shooting sport alternatives, and by retaining the perfect balance of points-per-second (hit factor) scoring, PCSL pushes the skill ceiling of competition even higher, making space for new legends to make names for themselves and push the boundaries of what we believe to be possible on a course of fire.

This PCSL match at the Sawmill will have the two core divisions of PCSL (Competition and Practical). This is a 2-Gun (pistol and rifle/carbine) match. One of the stages will include shotgun targets (the shotgun and ammunition will be provided as a "stage gun").

Competitor categories are: Men's Prime, Men, Masters (50+), Women, Tactical

The Tactical category will require a plate carrier (15 lbs men, 12 lbs women) and Tactical athletes will perform a work component in each stage.

The Tactical category will run during the match as age-agnostic and gender-agnostic. We will recognize the top man and top woman finisher in the Tactical category.

Scoring rules are in the match information section or you can read them on the PCSL website.

This match will have five stages. Maximum ranges for targets will be up to 300 yards. Most rifle targets will be at 100 yards or less but there will be some long shots.

Targets will be mostly PCSL hit-factor targets but there will be some steel targets mixed into the stages.
