April 26 Tactical Pistol

This is a 1 day course that focuses on combat application of the Pistol. This course reinforces on the fundamentals of combat marksmanship while introducing shooting on the move and from cover and concealment. This course has a strong emphasis on personal protection and defense versus plinking steel and punching holes in paper.
Overview:
-Mindset
-Gear and gun set up considerations
-Physiological effects of adrenaline/ shot placement
-Angles and holds
-Multiple target engagement
-Shooting with cover and concealment
-Shooting on the move
-Strong / weak side target engagements
Required gear:
-Eye/ ear protection
-Long pants
-Closed toe shoes
-Pistol and holster (OWB preferred)
-3 magazines with mag pouches minimum
-Extra batteries for optics
-450 rounds of ammunition
-Cleaning kit
-Inclement weather gear
-Snacks and water
